Our Church

Our Mission

The mission of our Church is:·
to give praise to God

to open ourselves to God’s love
to hear and reflect on the Gospel
to proclaim the love of God revealed in Jesus Christ
to join with others in searching for God
to encourage the development of faith

to serve and care for one another, our community and God’s world
to take every appropriate opportunity to co-operate with other churches and faiths

Welcome from Brian Spencer

Welcome to the Clifton Methodist Church website. In it you will find a range of information about our church, and details of some of the activities and opportunities which it offers.

The various pages should help you to find the details you want.

If you have the opportunity, do take the time to visit us. You can be sure of finding a warm welcome at any of our activities, and you are especially invited to join us for worship.

Just come and look – there will be no obligation and no pressure – rather the opportunity to discover for yourself what has motivated and led Christian people through the ages, and what continues to inspire us to seek more knowledge of God’s love for us.
